Profits from YE company go to Hospital
PART of the profits of a Young Enterprise Group have been donated to help refurbish the children ward play room at the Princess Elizabeth.
Carpe Diem which comprised 21 members donated £273.67, they had focused their business on helping young people which included producing calendars with local students photography, holding a quiz night and selling sweets!
Guernsey Young enterprise is aimed at 15 to 19 year-olds who set up a company to come up with innovative ideas and raise money. It aims to give the people involved a sense of achievement and responsibility.
With the room being made ready and the toys on order it wont be long before life for the children on the Frossard Ward gets a little bit better thanks to some enterprising teenagers.
